This voltage regulator is a replacement part for the Yamaha Aerox 4T and the Yamaha Neo 4T. The regulator keeps the battery correctly charged and supplies the electrical system with a stable voltage — essential for the spark plug, indicators and starter motor.
Please note: this version is suitable for models without UBS (Unified Brake System). Before ordering, check whether your Aerox or Neo is the UBS version. The OEM reference number is 5C3-H1960-00, allowing you to verify the correct application in the Yamaha parts catalogue.
Installation requires disconnecting the battery and swapping the connector on the regulator. Is the charge lower than expected, or is the scooter difficult to start with a full battery? Then a defective voltage regulator is often the cause.
