This voltage regulator is a replacement part for the Yamaha Aerox 4T and the Yamaha Neo 4T. The regulator ensures that the battery remains correctly charged and the electrical system receives a stable voltage — essential for the spark plug, turn signals, and starter motor.
Please note: this version is suitable for models without UBS (Unified Brake System). Before ordering, please check if your Aerox or Neo is the UBS version. The OEM reference number is 5C3-H1960-00, with which you can verify the correct application in the Yamaha parts book.
Installation requires disconnecting the battery and swapping the connector on the regulator. Is the charge lower than expected, or is the scooter difficult to start with a full battery? Then a defective voltage regulator is often the cause.
