This Newfren compression spring is designed for the 3-plate clutch on classic Puch mopeds. With a diameter of Ø 39 mm and a length of 23,25 mm, it replaces the worn or broken compression spring in the clutch — a common wear part on 2-stroke mopeds with a 2-speed gearbox.
The spring ensures the correct pressure on the clutch parts so that the clutch engages properly and disengages. Newfren is a well-known Italian manufacturer of brakes and clutch parts for classic two- and three-wheelers.
