Crankcase set Malossi MHR centre RC-one 52mm scooter Piaggio 2T 5715845

This Malossi MHR RC-One crankcase set (centre) is intended for Piaggio 2-stroke engine blocks and is suitable for cylinders up to 52 mm bore. It is a performance-oriented alternative to the original Piaggio crankcase, designed for the higher load of a 52 mm cylinder upgrade.

The crankcase is cast from an aluminium-silicon alloy and comes complete with reed valve (Malossi MHR VL18), X360 inlet manifold (Ø21-28 mm, length 27 mm, interchangeable) and bearings. The crankshaft bearings and the rear wheel bearing measure 20 × 47 × 14 mm, the gear bearing 16 × 22 × 12 mm, and the oil seals are made of FKM/PTFE. The cylinder stud pattern is 48 × 48 mm, with support for both internal and external steel studs 8.8 (updated model). A coolant connector for LC setups is included. The weight including silent blocks is 5,25 kg. The set is comparable to the C-One crankcases and connects to the Malossi RC-One and MHR cylinder and crankshaft setup. Malossi item number: 5715845.

Before fitting, check that the crankshaft, gasket and cylinder match the 52 mm bore. Fitting by an experienced mechanic or workshop is recommended.
