The lighting in the helmet is rechargeable. On the underside of the back of the helmet you can easily charge the helmet via a USB-C cable. The lighting can burn for 4+ hours continuously. ERT stands for Energy Reduction Technology, an innovative technology specially designed to reduce the impact and rotational forces in a fall. Bicycle helmets made only of EPS mainly protect against direct, linear impact, but in an accident a rotational force is often released as well, which can be harmful to the brain. ERT helps to absorb and spread these forces, so that the impact is measurably reduced. The blue ERT padding also has the added benefit of providing a very comfortable fit. Thanks to the magnetic action of Fidlock, the closure can be opened and closed quickly and easily with one hand, even with gloves on, which is ideal while cycling. This reduces the hassle of traditional buckles and considerably improves ease of use.
