Product information

With the Grand Prix 5000, a new era of cycling begins. The Grand Prix 5000 is better than the Grand Prix 4000S II in every respect. The Grand Prix 5000 is 12% faster thanks to the reduced rolling resistance, is 20% more puncture-resistant and 10 grams lighter than its predecessor. The Grand Prix 5000 also offers more comfort while riding. The construction of the tyre consists of a 3-ply 330 TPI casing, complemented by a more finely woven Vectran breaker and a new elastomer layer. The Active Comfort Technology ensures a comfortable ride. The Black Chili Compound is used for the tread. The shoulder of the tyre has a subtle aerodynamic pattern. This pattern features a renewed technology called Lazer Grip Texturing. Thanks to the tiny holes, this technology provides better road holding in corners. All tyres have a black sidewall and are foldable
