Anti-puncture protection With our PolyX Breaker® we bring our car expertise to the bicycle tyre segment: polyester has been used successfully in car tyres for years and has been proven and tested many times over. The extremely resistant polyester fibre is woven tightly in a crisscross pattern. This achieves a very high fabric density, so the Breaker is not only better able to withstand foreign objects but is also particularly resistant to perforations. Rolling resistance is also not negatively affected by the PolyX Breaker®.
DuraSkin Tyres with DuraSkin® sidewall protection have to be able to roll with the punches. They are used in the toughest conditions. On courier bikes the tyres scrape along kerbs; on touring bikes they cross continents without wearing out. In road racing they have to withstand tough tests, such as Paris-Roubaix.
