With the Polini variator roller set (art. 242.223), you give your Yamaha T-Max variator the correct weight setting for a smooth and efficient start-up. The rollers weigh 19,0 grams and have dimensions of 25×15 mm — the exact Polini specification for the T-Max 530 and the newer T-Max/Tech Max 560 E5 models.
Polini is a renowned Italian manufacturer of drivetrain components. The roller set is aftermarket made but manufactured to match the original variator geometry, allowing for direct installation without modifications.
Compatible with the T-Max 530 ie (2012–2016) and the T-Max/Tech Max 560 E5 (2020–2021, 2022–2024 and 2025+, engine number J421E). Replace the rollers in case of uneven wear, vibrating start-up, or changed riding behavior — this is typically one of the first maintenance points for the variator.
