The Polini variokit (art. no. 241.695) is an aftermarket variator kit specifically developed for the Yamaha T-Max 500 from model year 2001 to 2011. A variokit replaces (part of) the variator system in your scooter's automatic transmission — the heart of the drive between the engine and the rear wheel.
Polini is a well-known Italian manufacturer of performance and replacement parts for scooters and mopeds. The kit is intended as a direct replacement for the original variator components and is tuned to the specifications of the T-Max 500 series from this generation.
Install the kit according to the T-Max 500 factory specifications and check the riding performance at both low and high speeds after installation. Consult the workshop manual for the correct installation sequence of the variator components.
