This original Piaggio variokit (OEM reference CM1444085) is the factory part for the CVT transmission system of your Piaggio or Vespa scooter. The variokit ensures the characteristic smooth, stepless acceleration for which these scooters are known.
With original Piaggio quality, you can be sure that the fit and tolerances correspond exactly to the factory specifications. This is essential for a precision mechanism like the variator: small deviations in weight or dimensions lead directly to altered shifting behavior and accelerated wear.
Installation tip: when replacing the variator kit, also check the condition of the V-belt. Both parts work together and wear at the same rate — a new variator kit on a worn V-belt will never perform optimally.
