This variator ramp is suitable for mopeds and scooters with a Minarelli engine in both the horizontal and vertical versions. The ramp guides the variator roller into the correct path and contributes to determining the riding characteristics of the CVT drive.
Replacement is necessary in the event of wear or damage to the ramp plates, which is noticeable as irregular acceleration or hesitation in the variator. The plate fits the Minarelli AM engine family that Yamaha uses in many models — both horizontally mounted (horizontal cylinder, such as the Aerox) and vertically mounted (vertical cylinder, such as the Jog).
