The variator housing is the outer part of the variator — the automatic transmission of your Kymco Filly 50. This part encloses the variator rollers and protects the internal variator components during use. Wear or damage to the variator housing leads to reduced riding performance and can place extra strain on the roller set and V-belt.
This is an original Kymco part with OEM number 22111-YXA7-E00. It is identical to the factory part, guaranteeing a perfect fit on the Filly 50 without any modifications. You need not have any doubts about sizing or compatibility.
Preferably replace the variator rollers and V-belt at the same time when the variator housing is due for replacement — this prevents new material from wearing out prematurely due to aging opposing material.
