Replace the entire clutch of your Piaggio or Vespa scooter with this complete clutch kit. The package contains everything you need for a complete clutch replacement on the 4-stroke 2-valve engines that Piaggio uses in popular models such as the Zip, SXR 50, and the Vespa family LX, Primavera, and Sprint.
The clutch ensures a smooth transfer of engine power to the variator. A worn or slipping clutch can be recognized by reduced acceleration, higher engine RPM without a corresponding increase in speed, or vibrations when pulling away. Timely replacement prevents further wear on the variator and driveshaft.
Installation requires removing the clutch cover and carefully tightening the clutch nut — use a flywheel puller and torque wrench for this to the recommended torque from your model's workshop manual.
