Product information
This original Piaggio fuel tap (OEM number 674595) regulates the fuel supply to the carburetor via a vacuum system. The tap only opens when there is negative pressure on the intake side, which prevents fuel leakage when the engine is stationary. This makes it more reliable than a manual tap.
Suitable for 2-stroke models with Euro-2 engines: Piaggio Liberty 2T, Piaggio LX 2T, Piaggio Typhoon, Piaggio Zip 2T, and Vespa Primavera 2T and Sprint 2T. During installation: pay attention to the correct hose diameter and the connection direction of the vacuum hose — an inverted or loose vacuum hose will result in a clogged valve and a non-starting engine.
As an original Piaggio part, this component fits seamlessly into the original mounting positions and hose diameters. Recommended as a direct replacement in case of leakage, a broken connection, or wear of the rubber diaphragm inside the valve.
