Product information
With this brake pad set, you replace the worn brake shoes of the drum brake on your Kymco scooter. Brake pads wear out with use — replacing them on time ensures reliable braking power and prevents damage to the brake drum.
The kit fits a large number of popular Kymco models: Agility 125, Agility 16+, Agility City 16, People 50, People S 50, People S 50i, Super 8, and Super 8 Street. Both 2-stroke and 4-stroke versions are supported, from Euro 2 (before 2018) up to and including Euro 4 (2018 and newer). The Super 8 is supported from model year 2007 onwards.
Always replace the brake segments as a complete set — both segments at the same time — so that the braking force remains evenly distributed across the drum. After installation, adjust the brake clearance correctly and thoroughly test the braking performance before putting the scooter back into use. If in doubt, also check the condition of the brake drum itself.
