Product information
The front wheel brake anchor plate is the fixed mounting point for the brake shoes in a drum brake. The plate absorbs the braking forces towards the frame so that the axle continues to rotate freely — an essential component for a properly functioning drum brake on your Puch MS or MV.
Replacement is necessary if the plate is bent, the camshaft suspension is worn, or during a complete brake overhaul. When installing, also check the brake shoes and brake springs immediately to ensure the drum brake as a whole functions optimally. The silver finish is factory color-conforming for these models.
