This brake anchor plate is intended for the front wheel with the large hub (hub 517) on the Zündapp Model 529. The anchor plate forms the basis of the drum system: brake shoes and the brake rod are mounted on it, giving you direct control over the braking performance of the front wheel when replacing it.
Carefully mount the anchor plate onto the correct hub — hub 517 is specific to the larger wheel hub of this model. When installing, check that the brake rod connection moves freely and then readjust the brake clearance.
