This original Piaggio base gasket (0.5 mm) replaces the gasket between the cylinder block and the crankcase on a large number of modern Piaggio and Vespa scooters with Euro-4 or Euro-5 engines. The OEM part number 969230 guarantees exact dimensions and material specification — no deviation, no rework.
The 0,5 mm version is the standard factory thickness for the mentioned engine families. Always install the gasket dry (without gasket adhesive) unless the workshop manual specifies otherwise. After installation, check the oil level and start the engine for leaks before replacing the cap.
Fits the 4-stroke 3-valve I-get engine (including Piaggio Liberty), the 4-stroke 4-valve engine (Piaggio LX, Vespa Primavera, Vespa S), and the 4-stroke 2-valve engine (Piaggio Sportcity One). Consult your parts manual for OEM number 969230 to confirm compatibility with your model year.
