This original Piaggio O-ring ensures a proper seal for the oil dipstick and prevents oil leaks at the gauge opening. It is an exact-fitting OEM part with the Piaggio identifier 1a009397 — the same part used by the factory, not an aftermarket alternative.
The O-ring fits a wide range of Piaggio Group scooters from Piaggio, Vespa, Aprilia, and Gilera, including the Beverly (all cc), GTS all models, GTV, MP3, Primavera 4T, Sprint 4T, Zip 4T, Liberty 4T RST, Liberty IGET, and the Sportcity One. If in doubt, check OEM number 1a009397 in your model's parts book.
Replacement is simple: remove the oil dipstick, slide off the worn O-ring, and replace it with this new one. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with motor oil for a good fit and leak-free seal. Recommended replacement at every major service or as soon as oil loss is visible around the dipstick.
