This original Piaggio camshaft sprocket (OEM: 1A016031) replaces the wear-prone sprocket on the camshaft of the 4-stroke Euro5 engine. Because it is a genuine part, the toothing, material specifications, and fit are exactly the same as the factory part — no adjustment time, direct fit.
The gear controls the actuation of the camshaft relative to the crankshaft. A worn or damaged gear causes timing problems, rough running, or, in the worst case, internal engine damage. Therefore, replace it immediately when changing the chain or timing belt.
Suitable for the Piaggio Zip 4T and the Vespa Primavera and Sprint, both in the Euro5 version. Before ordering, check OEM number 1A016031 in your vehicle's parts book.
