The original Piaggio exhaust valve rocker is an essential valve train component in the 4-stroke, 4-valve engine of the Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint. This rocker ensures the correct actuation of the exhaust valve via the camshaft and is crucial for good engine efficiency and quiet operation.
As an original Piaggio part (OEM number B015611), this part fits the relevant engine blocks without modification. When replacing a rocker arm, also check the rocker arm shaft and the valve clearance immediately — worn rocker arm surfaces lead to a ticking noise and increased oil consumption.
Preferably replace in pairs (intake and exhaust) while the engine is open, so that you do not have to disassemble it again at the next time wear occurs.
