This original Piaggio oil pump cable replaces the wear-prone cable between the oil pump lever and the oil pump itself. With an original part (Piaggio part number 560448), you can be sure that the cable length, mounting points, and cable diameter match the factory dimensions exactly.
The oil pump control is crucial for 2-stroke mopeds and scooters: a broken or stretched cable results in an incorrect mixture ratio, which quickly leads to engine damage. Replace the cable at the first signs of play or kinking.
