The diaphragm is a crucial component in the intake flow of your 2-stroke engine: it regulates the flow of the air-fuel mixture from the carburetor to the crankcase. The Power1 Race EVO-1 is a sporty aftermarket upgrade over the standard diaphragm — you will notice this immediately in the throttle response and acceleration performance.
This membrane is specifically suitable for engines with the Minarelli horizontal block, such as the Yamaha Aerox 50. Power1’s Race EVO-1 design focuses on optimal flow at higher RPMs, without compromising reliability during normal use.
During installation, check that the diaphragm is flat and free of cracks or damage. A worn diaphragm causes symptoms such as difficulty starting, unstable idling, or noticeable loss of power.
