This Polini diaphragm (art. no. 213.0046) is an aftermarket replacement for the original diaphragm valve in engines with a Minarelli horizontal block. The diaphragm regulates the gas flow from the carburetor to the crankcase and is a wear part that is replaced during overhauls or performance upgrades.
Polini is an Italian manufacturer specializing in 2-stroke components. Part number 213.0046 is specific to the Minarelli horizontal engine block — the type found in many popular 50cc scooters and mopeds.
