The Malossi MHR crankshaft (art. no. 539212) is an aftermarket crankshaft for the Piaggio 50cc scooter platform. Fits the Piaggio DNA, NRG, Runner, Typhoon and Zip, and the Gilera Stalker. Technical specifications: connecting rod length 85mm, pin diameter Ø 12mm and stroke length 39,3mm.
The crankshaft connects the piston movement to the primary drive and is therefore one of the most critical components in the engine block. A crankshaft with precise tolerances ensures smooth engine operation and minimizes wear on bearings, piston rings, and intake rubbers. Malossi manufactures this crankshaft under the MHR product line.
Assembly tip: When replacing the crankshaft, replace the crankshaft bearings and seals simultaneously for a complete overhaul result. Check the axial clearance and balance before installation in the crankcase. At the same time, inspect the piston pin and piston rings for wear.
