This grommet protects the cable sheath where the cable enters the open headlight housing. The rubber grommet prevents the sharp edge of the headlight housing from damaging the cable's insulation material — essential for a good electrical connection on classic mopeds.
Made of black rubber, suitable for the open headlight housing of Kreidler and Zündapp mopeds. The OEM reference number 517-16.239 makes identification easy. Can be mounted directly as a replacement part during restoration or repair.
