This original Piaggio retaining ring (47mm) sits on the rear axle and prevents the wheel from shifting axially. As an OEM part with part number 006647, it meets factory tolerances exactly — no play, no chafing.
The ring fits a wide range of Piaggio and Vespa scooter models: GTS (all versions), MP3, Primavera, Sprint, Zip, and Zip SP. When replacing the rear wheel or overhauling the axle suspension, this is one of the parts that is replaced as standard.
