This original Piaggio oil seal is the factory fitment for the front fork leg of the 2012 Piaggio Fly New. With dimensions of 33×45×10,5 mm, you replace the wear-prone seal exactly to OEM specification — no aftermarket compromise, but a Piaggio factory part with part number 668492.
The oil seal provides the oil seal in the front fork. In the event of a leak, you lose damping effect and risk unsafe riding characteristics. Replacing it in a timely manner keeps the front fork functioning properly. During assembly, also check the inner leg for signs of wear before installing the new oil seal.
