This original Piaggio inspection hatch (also known as a 'flap' or 'cover') is located in the left footboard and provides direct access to the spark plug without completely removing the footboard. The hatch fits precisely into the recess thanks to original Piaggio dimensions — no gaps, no rattling noises after installation.
OEM part number 653287000CTo change or check the spark plug, you flip open the hatch, replace the spark plug, and flip it back. Handy for periodic maintenance, especially on three-wheelers where the engine compartment is less accessible than on a conventional scooter.
Please note: this is the Links small hatch (sx = sinistra = left). Check whether you need the left or right version for your situation.
