This rear air filter housing from DMP replaces the original filter housing on classic mopeds with a Sachs engine. The housing holds the air filter element in place and ensures that the carburetor draws in only filtered air — essential for clean combustion and a long engine life.
Specifically suitable for Hercules 504 and 505, and fitting Sachs and Sparta mopeds with similar engine configurations. DMP supplies aftermarket replacement parts for classic two-wheelers where the dimensions match the original part, for trouble-free installation without modifications.
During installation, check whether the air filter element itself also needs replacing — a new filter housing performs best in combination with a clean filter.
