This original Piaggio voltage regulator (Kokusan type, 5-pin) monitors and regulates the battery charging voltage and protects the electronics against voltage spikes. It is a direct replacement OEM part with Piaggio part number 641788, specifically for Euro 2 engines with Kokusan ignition.
The 5-pin connector connects to the original wiring harness plug of the mentioned models. Please note the Euro-2 mark: this part fits exclusively the Euro-2 version of these engines, not later Euro-3/4/5 variants. For the Piaggio Zip: suitable from model year 2009.
