The HPS ignition lock set — fully known as the 'idiot-proof lock' — is a reinforced anti-theft solution based on the original Vespa ignition lock, but modified to make cylinder tampering impossible. That is precisely the weak point of the standard lock: with the HPS version, you can no longer pull out the cylinder plug without destroying the scooter.
The set consists of two locks: one for the ignition point and one for the buddy lock. Included are two keys and a key number plate — handy as proof for your insurer in case of loss or theft.
Fits the Vespa Primavera, Sprint, LX and S, and the Piaggio Zip 2000 (designated as 'Zip2000' in the original description). Check your year of manufacture and model before installation.
