The Polini Sport piston (Ø45,8 mm, pin diameter 12 mm) is an aftermarket replacement piston for air-cooled 2-stroke 50cc mopeds from Yamaha and MBK. With part number 204.0288, Polini offers a precisely fitting replacement for the original piston in engines such as the Yamaha DT 50 MX and the iconic Chappy LB 50.
The piston is suitable for the horizontal and vertical air-cooled 2-stroke engine blocks used in these models. When installing, pay attention to the correct entry direction of the piston pin and use a new piston ring for a reliable seal.
