The Metrakit Pro Race piston is a sporty replacement piston for Minarelli horizontal water-cooled engines. With a diameter of 47,6mm and an oversize of +1mm, this piston is intended for a slightly re-machined cylinder — ideal for overhaul or when the original bore shows too much wear to return to standard size.
The set includes the piston, including piston ring. The Metrakit Pro Race line is tuned for reliable handling with improved wear resistance compared to the original specification. Before installation, always check the bore with a micrometer to confirm that 47,6mm is the correct oversize for your cylinder.
The Minarelli horizontal LC engine is used in the Yamaha Aerox and similar models, among others. Always check the engine type (horizontal, water-cooled) before ordering — not to be confused with the air-cooled or vertical Minarelli variant.
