Product information
The Malossi MHR piston with a 47,6 mm diameter (Class A) and a 12 mm pin diameter is an aftermarket part for mopeds and scooters with a Minarelli or Piaggio 2-stroke engine. MHR is Malossi's racing line — manufactured to tight tolerances for optimal combustion and a long service life.
The piston is suitable for both the Minarelli horizontal and Minarelli vertical engine blocks, as well as the standard Piaggio 2-stroke block. Always check the bore of your cylinder before installation: class A corresponds to a specific tolerance band. Malossi article number: 348654.A0.
Install the piston with a new piston ring and piston pin. Use the correct piston pin retainer (circlip) and thoroughly clean the cylinder bottom before installation.
