The 47,6 mm Malossi MHR piston is an aftermarket replacement piston for 2-stroke engines with a Minarelli horizontal or vertical engine design, and also fits Piaggio 2-stroke scooters and mopeds. Malossi is known in the two-wheeler world for its precision-manufactured aftermarket cylinder and engine parts.
The 47,6 mm bore (B-version) makes this a common size for refurbishment or performance-oriented maintenance of scooters and mopeds with Minarelli engines. The Minarelli platform — in both horizontal and vertical versions — is one of the most widespread 2-stroke engine families in Europe.
