With this 3.20 mm valve shim, you accurately adjust the valve clearance on Piaggio scooters with a 4-stroke 4-valve engine. You replace valve shims when the valve clearance falls outside the specified tolerance — for example, during a major service or after wear on the valve or camshaft wearers.
The size (3.20 mm) is indicated on the bottom of the plate; this is not visible in the product photo. Before installation, always check the required valve clearance in your scooter's service manual and measure the current plate with a micrometer to determine the correct replacement size.
