This 39mm DMP aluminium Nikasil cylinder is a top-quality replacement for the 50cc 4-stroke horizontal engine. The Nikasil coating — a hard nickel-silicon carbide lining — ensures a wear-resistant inner bore with optimal ring connection, lower consumption, and a longer service life compared to a standard cast iron or steel cylinder.
The cylinder fits the widely used GY6 engine block found in many Chinese 50cc scooters and mopeds, but is also suitable for the 4-stroke engines of Peugeot, SYM, and Kymco. Whether you are performing a wear-out overhaul or returning to original specifications after engine damage: with a bore of 39mm and a displacement of 50cc, this cylinder closely matches the standard dimensions.
Always use a matching piston and a complete gasket set during installation. Lightly grease the bore before the first start and allow the engine to run in gently for optimal service life.
