The 38mm DMP aluminium Nikasil cylinder is a solid replacement cylinder for the Puch Maxi moped. The Nikasil coating — a nickel-silicon carbide layer — ensures excellent wear resistance and good heat dissipation, which significantly extends the lifespan of the engine block compared to a standard cast iron cylinder.
With a bore of 38mm, this cylinder fits the Puch Maxi engine block. According to the feed data, it is also suitable for comparable Piaggio platforms. The aluminium construction keeps the weight low, while the Nikasil wall provides a strong running surface for the piston.
When replacing a cylinder, order a suitable 38mm piston and corresponding gasket set at the same time for a complete overhaul in one go.
