The Athena 6-rib cylinder is an aftermarket replacement cylinder for classic 2-stroke Honda mopeds. With a bore of 39mm and a displacement of 50cc, this cylinder directly replaces the original unit on the Honda MB, MT, and MTX.
The 6-ribbed cooling fins ensure effective air cooling — a typical Athena design for reliable thermal dissipation in 2-stroke engines. Athena is a renowned Italian manufacturer of cylinder kits and engine components for mopeds and scooters.
Note: The matching piston rings for this cylinder are part number 21240 or 16140. Before installation, check whether the piston pin and retaining rings also need to be replaced.
