The Airsal aluminium Nikasil cylinder is a popular upgrade cylinder for Kymco scooters and mopeds with an air-cooled 50cc engine. With a bore of 47.6mm and a displacement of 70cc, you offer your motorcycle more headroom and power without having to completely modify the engine block.

The cylinder body is manufactured from aluminium with a Nikasil coating — a nickel-silicon carbide compound that is significantly harder and more wear-resistant than standard cast iron. As a result, the cylinder wall is more resistant to high temperatures and wear over time, while the lightweight aluminium promotes heat dissipation. For those who use their Kymco daily or want a bit more power, this is a solid choice.

Please note: when installing a 70cc cylinder, it is advisable to tune the carburetor and variator to the increased power. This way, you get the most out of this upgrade and prevent premature wear.
