This 12mm PHVA carburetor with electric choke is an aftermarket replacement part for 2-stroke Piaggio scooters. The PHVA (Progressiva Horizontale Variabile Automatica) version ensures a good fuel-air mixture ratio, contributing to a smooth throttle response.
The integrated electric choke makes cold starting easier: at low temperatures, the choke automatically activates until the engine reaches operating temperature. This replaces the manual choke found on older models.
Installation requires adjustment of the fuel supply and throttle valve; during installation, check the nozzle and adjustment screw for the correct setting for your engine.
