This original Piaggio pickup is the inductive pickup element of the electronic ignition on your Vespa moped. The pickup registers the rotational position of the flywheel magnet and transmits the timing signal to the ignition coil or CDI unit — the basis of every ignition function.
With OEM part number 214161, this is a direct replacement original part: exactly the same specifications as the factory fitment, no modifications required. Ideal if the ignition fails, sparks irregularly, or fails completely, and diagnostics indicate the pickup as the cause.
