The Polini PVL ignition is a high-quality aftermarket ignition kit that offers a direct replacement for the original ignition on engines with a Minarelli or Piaggio 2-stroke block. PVL (Powerdynamo) is known for stable spark energy and reliable ignition timing — even under increased engine load.
The ignition fits the widely used Minarelli AM6 engine (upright, used in sporty 50cc mopeds and scooters, among others), as well as the horizontal and vertical Minarelli engines found in numerous city and compact scooters. Additionally, the set is suitable for Piaggio 2-stroke engines in the scooter segment. Polini article number: 171.0665.
Replace a defective or outdated ignition correctly the first time: always check the ignition timing with a stroboscope during installation for optimal performance.
