Product information
This Bosch contact point (wireless) is a replacement ignition part for classic mopeds from Kreidler, Puch Maxi, Zündapp, and Piaggio. The contact point — also known as the breaker point or platinum — regulates the interruption moment in the ignition plate and has a direct influence on the starting behavior and idling of your moped.
The Bosch type 021 is supplied without connecting wire. This is ideal if you are reusing the existing wire or modifying the wiring to fit your ignition plate yourself. Before installation, check that the point gap (contact clearance) is adjusted according to the specifications of your engine type — incorrect clearance will cause starting problems or power loss.
