Product information
This capacitor (short model, type Bosch 035, solder connection) replaces the original capacitor in the contact-point ignition system of classic mopeds. A defective capacitor causes sparking at the contact points, engine failure, or poor starting performance — always replace it together with the contact points during an ignition overhaul.
The capacitor fits several classic moped brands: Tomos, Kreidler, Puch Maxi, and Zündapp. Before installation, check if your model has a Bosch-type contact point ignition with the 035 connector type.
