This CDI unit from DMP combines an ignition coil and CDI in a single unit, complemented by a supplied remote control that allows you to switch the rev limiter on and off while driving — without turning off the engine. Handy for situations where you want to briefly unlock it and then quickly limit it again.
You set the speed limiter via a potentiometer on the unit itself. The scooter remains limited during starting. Once riding, you operate the limiter remotely. Unlimited, the scooter travels at 50–60 km/h; the exact speed varies per unit because they are manually adjusted.
Suitable for Piaggio and Vespa scooters with a 4-stroke 2-valve engine (Euro-2). Please note the engine type when ordering: only for 4T 2V versions.
