The Malossi MHR ignition coil (art. 5519640) is designed for scooters with electronic ignition on a Minarelli or Piaggio 2-stroke engine. As an aftermarket high-voltage coil, it delivers a reliable spark for clean ignition at any temperature.
Malossi MHR stands for reinforced engine components used on both standard and lightly tuned 2-stroke scooters. The ignition coil replaces the original high-voltage coil and connects directly to the existing wiring of models with an electronic ignition system.
Before installation, check if your scooter has an electronic (contactless) ignition system — this coil is not suitable for points ignition.
