The ring lock has an ART 2-star approval, meaning the lock meets the requirements for taking out bicycle insurance. The AXA Solid can be mounted in various ways. The lock is mounted by default using mounting holes in the bicycle frame. If there are no mounting holes in the bicycle frame to mount a ring lock, you can order and use the AXA Flex mount strips.
