Variator rollers are the small, cylindrical weights located in the variator of a scooter or moped. They determine how quickly the primary pulley opens and, consequently, the handling: when the scooter accelerates, at what RPM, and how the top speed turns out.

Choosing the right variator roller kit comes down to two things: the exact size (outer diameter × width, such as 19×15 mm) that fits your variator, and the weight (in grams) that provides the best balance between acceleration and top speed for your scooter or moped.
