Gas needle
The throttle needle is a narrow, conical pin in the carburetor of your scooter or moped that regulates the amount of fuel when the throttle body is partially open. The position of the needle — adjustable via a small clamp or clip — partly determines the fuel mixture and, consequently, how the engine responds while riding.
When choosing the right throttle needle, pay attention to the diameter of the carburetor (expressed in millimeters) and the brand or type of carburetor, such as Bing or a Chinese OEM model.
